What do I need to bring with me?
Our self catering holiday lodge has everything you should need to enjoy your stay, see here exactly what the lodge includes. We suggest bringing comfortable clothes for the lodge and enough clothes that allows for the traditional Scottish weather to change, as well as your toiletries and food. Yes! We love encouraging our guests to have a swim in the loch, however this is done at your own risk and children MUST be supervised at all times. You can step down in to the water directly outside the lodge. Please note, access is a little rocky; many prefer to bring shoes. You are also able to set off on your kayak or paddle board from here.
There is no access to the loch for motorised boats or jet skis at The Triangle Lodge.
Is Broadband / Internet / Wireless access available?
Yes, Wi-Fi is included. As The Triangle Lodge is in a rural area internet access may be intermittent or even on occasion unavailable for a short period of time because of the distance to the nearest BT exchange and its remoteness. As in most properties the strength of the wireless signal can vary throughout the property, so please bear this in mind.
Can we smoke or vape inside the property?
The Triangle Lodge is a strictly no smoking or vaping lodge. You may smoke outside with the patio door closed, we just ask for our guests to dispose currently of any litter whilst outdoors.
What renovations are happening to the property?
When buying the lodge, we knew a lot of work needed to be done. We have been completing gradual improvements over the last couple of years. In the meantime we have been able to off the lodge at a very reasonable cost to not only allow other to enjoy the lodge but to also fund further improvements to The Triangle Lodge.
2023 will see the bathroom, walls, flooring, beds and doors being replaced. There will be a slight increase in our rates for 2024 once we have made the necessary improvements; however in the meantime these things are only superficial and still serve a purpose. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to ask. We want to be as transparent as possible.
